One of our favorite things we like to do besides crafting
is hunt for treasures at fleamarkets and thriftstores.
Some days we have no luck but there also succesful days.
Let me show you
a few of our latest finds.
A beautiful colored cross-stitch sampler in making
An adorable potholder dress and pants
a felted heart
( I added the red and white string
and red bead)
Those two vintage embroidered pillow cases
with crochet edging
a sweet doily embroidered with French knots
and this doily with embroided flowers in a pot.
Thrifting is great...you never know what you will find.
I bet when Heleen and I both have grey hair
and false teeth we probably look exactly like these two grannies
thrifting (lol)!

oh my gosh yes! that will be me too! my mother already tells me that she thinks I will be a terribly eccentric old lady :-) And your finds are marvellous - my favourite is the colourful cross stitch. Have a lovely day!

You have lovely finds! I never seem to be lucky in the find department, so although I already have grey hair, I don't go to the thrift shop much!
Ik ben erg benieuwd naar je sampler. Het is sowieso genieten van alle foto's.
Haha, het zal druk worden later bij het grofvuil! Op je rollator kun je ook handig wat meenemen....
Jullie zijn toch wel kampioen schatgraven geloof ik, zoveel leuks weer gevonden!

Er is bijna niets zo leuk als spitten tussen oude 'zooi', op zoek naar speciale dingetjes.. Het zijn mooie vondsten en ja hoe zal ons huis er tegen die tijd uitzien als wij 'old en grey' zijn, vol met al deze treasures..

De merklap met het hondje heb ik zelf ook ooit geborduurd.Rond 1983.Ik had hem wel ingelijst.Omdat ik vaker verhuisd ben en dus ook veel dingen weggedaan heb zou ik haast gaan denken dat ik deze lap heb gemaakt.Tenzij hij was ingelijst.Grappig!
Heerlijk, snuffelen en schooieren tussen de spullen en weer een mooie winterse tas heb je gemaakt. Leuk om te zien en te lezen. fijne zondag! groetjes Paula
