The weekend was good..

I was on a short mini break to Zeeland last weekend.
and of course i had to visit some thriftstores
And boy...not without succes!

A horse and carriage in black cross-stitch
Het straatje van Vermeer
(the little street by Vermeer)
I'm sure Heleen can use this for one of her bags

Another beautiful cross- stitch
the woman who embroidered this signed with her name
and date of birth (i think) also in cross-stitch

i found a few little pieces
I gave them a little wash.

And this one is my favorite catch...
a gorgeous embroidered tablecloth.

embroidered tablecloth

So, not a bad huh!
have a lovely day.
groetjes, Corry

  3. O,wat vinden jullie toch altijd leuke spullen. Ik kan er wel is "jaloers" op worden. Het tafelkleed is geweldig en de kleine borduurtjes zijn leuk om in een quilt te verwerken.
    Toppie jullie vondsten.
    Fijne week, Evelyne

  7. Why do so many Dutch people abandon these beautiful embroideries and tapestries? You girls are so good to be rescuing them and making them into something new! Well done.
