This and that,

Today I started cutting the fabrics from
De Haan en Wagemakers for my new red chair quilt.

New chair quilt

At first glance you would say that the pieces are simply laid quickly ...
But I have tried to play with light and dark, and a fair distribution of colors.

I have them here, bundled, in small piles
so I can sew them in the right order.

Found these cute new ribbons for the loops
of the hearts and other ornaments.

Look at this match box...

Inside is a small bed with a sweet mouse
under a knitted blanket

  10. Looks amazing all those squares. And anyone who has made a quilt before knows that the random look of squares can sometimes have hours of carefully matching behind them. It is like laying a puzzle, moving pieces back and forth. I love that in the process of making a quilt. Can't wait to see the finished blanket. ♥
