Hallo everyone.
We're back again.
Hope you all had a great summer,
We had a great time camping in France and Spain.
It was raining when we came back
but this summer birthday cake made us forget to look outside!
And even if the sun was shining,
there was so much to do in the house..
Hang these new shelfs,
Read the new Flow magazine,
New summer flowers to put in a vase,
And of course so, so, so much laundry!
When that was finished I finaly found my sewing machine
and made this new bag!

Now I hope the rainy days are over..
So we can spend a few more days at the beach.
It's great to be back!

The cake looks scrummy! (scrumptious and yummy) What are the small red berries, please? I think I see strawberries, blueberries and raspberries, but the smooth red ones look like my choke cherries! :)
I was going to say I love the cake but when I got to the bag??? I want it. So cute. You are very talented. Somehow I missed that gene.

Your mentioning the rediscovery of your sewing machine encourages me to ask what sort of sewing machine you use.
I am contemplating the replacement of my precious heavy portable Singer sewing machine, bought back in 1967. Yes, 1967. It breaks my heart to consider a replacement, but I do want to continue sewing and think this Singer might have reached its limit.
Any suggestions from you all or from your followers would be greatly appreciated.

Jammie die taart bijna zonde om hem aan te snijden. Je hebt me geinspireerd ik heb een heel kitchie stofje liggen ik zal eens kijken of ik in de komende (weken) dagen deze kan fabriceren wordt vervolgd. Ja en die was vind ik keurig in de wasmand liggen maar is wel het minst leuke he. Nou dit weekend is het weer lekker dus nog even nagenieten. Groet Carina
