All the blocks are sewn in a quilttop.
Bright vibrant colors, so lovely.
My first intention was to sew the binding directly on to the blocks. But now,
after a had good look at this top, standing on a chair for keeping a little distance.
I came to the conclusion that a border will give this top a more prettier finish.
So I took a dive in my fabric stash in search for the right colors and fabric to use.
I found one so far...
See the green checkerfabric in the corner? It fits perfect.
While the quilt is on the floor waiting for a green border,
my sewing machine is busy sewing red and pink birds and sweet hearts.
The cross-stitch in the center is coming from a napkin.
And...I'm very happy to say I finally have a finish!!
This quilt was waiting endlessly for a happy ending.
I think my WIP's are definitely the most patience WIP's of all!

Love the Dutch quilt. It's gorgeous. Another one for my wishlist. Might make something like it for my cousin Tess, once I've finished Zoë's Quilt (lol).
That is so cool how you have mixed the Kaffe prints with classic ginghams! I like it! You kinda stepped out of the box there. Really cool. And the green gingham WILL be the perfect finish. Heart = cute! Dutch quilt = pretty! Sew on! I wanna see the result!
Hallo Corry! Je 'bento box' quilt is mooi! Ik heb deze altijd nog op mijn lijst van quilts die ik wil ooit maken. En ook een rood, wit, blauw quilt af. Prachtig.
Wat is je hart schattig. Leuk om een borduursel van een servet op nieuw te gebruiken.

waw! de productie draait daar op volle toeren - met het ene nog mooier dan het andere ...
Wat een prachtige quilt heb je weer gemaakt en die in aanmaak wordt ook al zo mooi. Het hart vind ik ook super!
Leuke stoffen in je quilt die af is. De nieuwe vin ik ook erg leuk . Gaaf patroon is dat toch, simpel maar erg leuk, staat nog op mijn verlanglijstje. Succes met je rand en goed weekend,
