Sunday stash

by Corry
Sundayafternoon and I'm up here in my lovely, all mine, atticroom.
I'm going through my fabric-cabinet and pulled out all the red ones.
Now that the evenings are getting colder and longer,
I need something new I can do.
A new challenge what can be done sitting in front of the tv.
So far I found this stash of red!

Next thing I went looking for was a pattern. It has to be non-complicated.
I think this is it...

Texas star. I want to make this one using the paper piecing method.
You do not need to remind me that I've already a paper piecing star quilt
waiting to get finished hidden in a box somewhere.
I know....I just want a NEW project!
And, I have more boxes than projects....so!

What are your plans for next winters project??

Have a lovely Sunday.
Groetjes, Corry

  4. I love your red stash! Where do you find all your pretty fabric? My next project will be to finish my first simple square quilt ever. I am not overly happy with the outcome but it is a must to learn the process. And after that the sky is the limit for all the ideas that keeps coming to me. Good luck with your new project.

  8. Beautiful stash!
The paper piecing method is great to do sitting in front of the TV. I am making dresden plates with paper piece templates. A nice job and also easy to take along.
I have to finish several projects so that is my next winters project.

    Groetjes Thea

  12. Such a pretty stash! I love your blogs. I found them in a roundabout way- a bloggy friend reccomended attic24 and while visiting that blog I decided to check out her blog roll and saw dutchblue which led to this one. I saved it and plan to add it to my blog roll soon. Pleased to meet you!

  15. What fun it is to visit you two sisters! The creativity of your posts is very inspiring.

My current projects are knitting...red stripy socks (begun last winter!), dark green chunky cabled cashmere scarf (begun last month), crocheting...circles in squares afghan, twisty-turny black and white scarf in a mix of black merino, grey tweedy wool and white mohair, and a linked-multi-colored flower scarf in merino wool.

Oh, I have a few other test patterns tucked away somewhere!

    Cheers!
